bad governments

I’ve been talking a lot lately about solutions to all of America’s problems. However, even if all of my ideas (or even all the better ideas that I haven’t thought of) were made law it still wouldn’t make a difference. It would all amount to naught until the deepest problem with our government is addressed.

Before I get to those two points I need to mention something else first.

A lot of Americans talk shit about Socialism and Communism. They use the examples of Russia, Cuba, China, North Korea, and Vietnam as PROOF that Socialism and Communism are failed government systems (even though most Americans couldn’t even begin to give a coherent explanation of what Socialism or Communism are).

Now, before I even get into the reason why all of those (or any) Socialist or Communist governments failed let me bring up two points:

First of all, the only true democracy in history was ancient Greece. However, that government was destined to fail because the citizens didn’t vote for their leaders; instead everybody actually all got their own turn to serve as ruler! They were truly ruled “by the people.” Of course, when you have your retarded neighbor Ruth or Jethro rule the country, of course you’re going to fail. So the only true democracy in history failed because the concept was stupid. The reason it was stupid is because most people aren’t fit to rule a country (no matter how small).

Secondly, America isn’t a democracy. Now, hold on a minute. This point is debatable. I read a blog recently about whether or not America is a democracy or not …unfortunately I can’t remember where. It doesn’t matter though. The important part is that the discussion devolved into a pointless, circular argument about ssemantics.

The funny thing about all the name calling and bickering that took place in the blog that I can’t remember is that it could have all been solved by asking what the American government considers itself. Duh.

Holy shit! The CIA (an American government agency) calls America a “Constitutional-based federal republic; strong democratic tradition.” That’s six extra words more than the word, “democratic.” You can trace any movie six degrees to Kevin Bacon. That means the difference between America and Democracy is the difference between “Steel Magnolias” and “Get Carter “(The vastly superior 1976 Michael Caine version).

Anyway, the point of this whole blog is to express this idea: That all the aforementioned Socialist and Communist governments failed for the same two primary reasons: corrupt government officials and stupid citizens. This isn’t to say that the aforementioned governments were perfect. They were far from it, but so is the current American government. It’s far from perfect too, but it can succeed. However, no matter what it has right, I (and history) can guarantee that it will fail as miserably as Greece, Rome, Britain, Russia, Cuba, and any other government under any form of rule whatsoever until it fixes the primary problems that have caused every form of government in the past to fail: that being corruption and civil stupidity.

…And America is ripe with corruption and civil stupidity…
